My, but you are getting quicker Evan knave ! But it comes at a cost (like $35 plus shipping, lol). But box 2 is a swell box, you'll always get your money's worth from Dan. Haven't been on the forum today except for bits and snatches. (That's how you managed to win those rocks!) Spending my day in the yard, doing yard work. Hot, but cooler in the shade of the fig tree, and a nice breeze. THEN, the young child in the yard behind me starts throwing a tantrum. I do not appreciate screaming/crying/whining children. When I said Wah, the girl says, what? I asked her if she was hurt, as that was the only reason I could see for making such a fuss. Then here dad, who is RIGHT THERE says she's not hurt, he is watching her. He goes on to explain that she is allowed to be in the yard, and she can pitch her fit, he is not going to stop her as that would be giving in. I told him I understand that theory, but that didn't mean I liked listening to it. He was mad at me for interfering in his child raising, can you believe it? My mom would have knocked us into next week, then said, NOW you got something to cry about! I can't go anywhere, guess he just expects me to just put up with it? (Three generations of Mexicans in the household.) Now she is quietly playing with her papa now, that's good, I just cannot stand the screaming. Calming down now....... |

I considered that, but there are other neighbors around that would also be affected. I wouldn't be any better than the dad!
Probably most of my neighbors already think I'm a cranky old bitch, lol. My motto - treat others as you would expect them to treat you.

No fun. But it would be nice if people could understand the impact they have on others. Not to always put themselves first.
Back in the day, when life was simpler, they called it respect. I actually have several neighbors that didn't learn to respect others. Or the environment, throwing their trash everywhere but where it belongs.
They are a joy to be around (NOT!).
