I finally got some free time to do a bit of cabbing, and try out the new polishing machine. I would say the new machine is working well, as is the operator. Those are beautiful.

Thanks. I am still adjusting to using diamond abrasives throughout the process. It seems like the 8000 grit diamond paste on a resin belt is really making a big difference.

Thanks again everybody, it felt good to finally get back to the wheels. I keep hearing that noreena is difficult to polish, but I can't say that I did anything special to it. Just the standard progression from 80 to 3000, then 8000 on a resin belt/expando, and finish with 14000 on treated canvas.

Like many have said previously..wonderful cabs! The Turkish stick agate is superb and those noreena are excellent!

Like many have said previously..wonderful cabs! The Turkish stick agate is superb and those noreena are excellent! The “K” Turkish Stick agate cabochon is coming to see me. It will be starting the journey shortly
