Quick question for drocknut and rockjunquie ... It may be obvious, but do you tumble wraps one at a time? I would think yes. Thanks! I do like hardnesses, but I don't always. I have only ever had a problem with malachite and variscite (the matrix was too soft).

I usually separate them out by metal ie..copper, silver, gold-filled. I haven't done it in a while since I haven't done any wire wraps in a while. I tumbled a batch before I did the PowWow show in Quartzsite in January including some that I had used liver of sulfur to "antique" them. Most were tree of life pendants. They came out just fine although I learned not to throw earrings in with pendants because the ear wires get hooked on the wire wraps and are hard to remove.
