The neighbor likes hanging around when I'm bust'n rocks and slabbin outside. He goes "Oh, Oh, I got some rocks you might like, they're cool, and you might be able to do something with them." I'm thinking "Riiiiiight, a nice chunk of quartz or some rock with mica flakes or something. Then he brings me over these 'baseball size chucks of Azurite with turquoise and quartz, and I'm going like "holy snit those are georgeous!" So I'm pondering how to best deal with these and thought I'd cut a couple of slabs for 'Show 'n Tell' here on the board. They are cut 1/4" thick. Here's a shot of them dry- Here they are wet- Here is a close-up dry- What possibilities!! I'm going to have to make him or his wife something from this. These are beautiful. Enjoy! -Banjo

So that's not a hole in the rock, but clear quartz, right? Man alive! Did he say where he got them? If he found them somewhere, get packing!

And here all I could think of was to ask the neighbor -"so ummm like where did you get these from?" Then Hightail it out there and collect some for all of us- Way Cool
