Hellooooo! Warren buddy!!! A little help here!? I just saw a cool slide show without narration. That's like an Oreo without the white stuff in the middle.

according to the info that I have and can remember Mr Porter constructed the birdbath first and then started the wall. He made several trips first around the Decorah area and then all over the world. The wall itself was constructed from 1939 to 1945. It was designed by Mr. Porter and a ll the stones were cut on site. The man was very wealthy. I think what took my breath away was the size of most of the geodes in the wall the size of the steering wheel of a car!!! I didn't even get inside of the house this time but rest assured I will be going back I found the place by accident and just had to stop.

Cool pics, thanks for sharing. I noticed in the fifth picture or so, the birdbath looks like there is a missing rock. You didn't happen to check to see if there were any more loose rocks, did you? LOL
