I've lived in this tiny little town for 7 years and it has two rock shops. They have been closed ever since I moved here. I drove by one today...AND IT WAS OPEN! Here is my first haul: Most of it was Mexican Lace Agate, but I have several I need help identifying. This is a 16 lb. block of blue stone: This looks like Amethyst: Don't know what the next 5 pictures are. Any ideas? I know I will be going back often. It's only about two miles away, nothing is sorted, it's just dumped in piles, and they don't seem to know what anything is. Trish

Can't help you with IDing the rocks but they are sure nice looking. Yeah, I can see where it would be trouble for the pocket book. ;D Cher

I can't help with the IDing either - other than the Mex Lace, but sure looks like you made a good haul there! And, yes, with a rock shop right around the corner you are in DEEP doo-doo! LOL!
There's a rock shop about 25 miles from BE and I. And next month their 1/2 price sale starts and lasts thru Sept., I think. Can't wait!!

That blue one in the fourth picture must be a plume agate. I looked at it real close and it has a lot of red plumes in it. Should be beautiful cut. Trish
