How about a smithing instead of a wrapper. roy wanted to bring back the old contest which was wrappers and cabbers. If we did smithies, we should probably have a different contest. I'll talk to Roy and Tommy about it. is there more of the smith peeps out there ? remember this is for fun so if your a new to it so what this is your chance to get challenged

If it would help to get this going, and smiths can play, I'd be in as a smith.

I'm willing to be a silversmith. Are cabber/smith teams able to collaborate/communicate during the process? (I'm really not interested in soldering up a gigantic cab. )

rockjunquie my cabs are all freeforms and not up to par with some of these on here. Smithing one of mine might be quite a challenge...if there's an odd number knock me off the list, please.

OK, but you will have an opportunity to collaborate with your partner. This may be a great way to up your game and see what it is like to cab for a jeweler. Mostly, as long as you can get a good even girdle, you'll be ok.

Things seem to be lightening up for me: been crazy busy the past 6 months. I'll volunteer as a cabber if needed.

Freeforms can be some of the best cabs to design for, Mike. You might reconsider ...
