He didn't seem to know what much of anything was. It was all piled together. He knew some of it was Mexican agate, he knew what rose quartz and pet wood was. That one big rock in the other post he said was Arkansas crystal had layers of amethyst in it. That's not Arkansas crystal. I just stayed a few minutes. I picked up three pieces of Mexican lace and asked what it wanted for it. He said $15. They were real small pieces so I told him that was too much. I went back up and threw a bunch on a pile and told him I would give him $35 for the whole pile. He said he would take $40 so I told him I would throw in another rock and give him $40. I don't think he knows any of the rock or what to charge. I bought 43 lps of rock for $40. Not exactly a steal, but I'm pleased. Can't wait to go back and really dig through those piles. I'm going to have to save a little first. He also said when I find my slab saw, he'd like to buy slabs from me. I think yesterday may have been my lucky day!
I'll let you all know what I find when I go back and get serious about digging through all that rock.
