Wow it’s green. Wonder if it’s like the one that turned Stephen King into a giant plant in Creepshow😜

when I first saw the pic I though of Phoenix well we have are own mysterious lights in the sky situations
it started when some good Mormon kids got a little loose one night in 1976 People have been seeing things ever since
I saw a similar green hue not quite as welled defined still quite unique and strange in the sky looking west from my property about year ago.
I gazed at it to long. about 3 minutes went inside to get my camera and in that 45 seconds it was mostly gone altho I did snap the picture
I'll see if I can't find in my archives and post ! stay tuned...!
o I've also heard tales of a green sun so I wonder if what I was experiencing was some sort of gamma ray deflection off the atmospheric high cirri-us clouds?

It must be a kryptonite meteor judging by the color.

I have seen at least 2 big green ones. Always seem to be at a low angle to the planet. I call them 'green skippers' as the first one I saw appeared to bounce off the atmosphere, like a skipped stone.
I saw a red one a couple years ago. I was driving my car and suddenly this red thing came into view, straight ahead of me and moving 'down' my windshield. The road made a sharp curve to the right but I was staring amazed at this meteor and I almost drove straight into the ditch instead! Fortunately a side road came in straight at the curve, but I entered it rather fast! (Imagine explaining that one to the insurance company.)
I did put in a report to the organization that keeps track of these things, but nobody else had made a report. Too bad, because I was really hoping someone else had seen it.

Vince and I saw a green one once when we were living on the mountain -- so probably about 8-9 years ago. We were on the deck at night and all of a sudden this big, green ball flew on past toward the south. That one did make the news around here, because it was seen in CA as well as down all the way to southern AZ. Pretty cool.

I'm not sure if that the same phenomenon my girlfriend & I witnesses in Chino sound just about the same time frame 8 years ago
nah this occurrence was more like 15 years ago
nonetheless it was huge and later explained as rocket launch from Vanders in CA.
but that light just kept growing brighter and brighter it was really something

o yeah hummingbirdstones i was going to ask you guys about 4 month ago there were reports of loud booms in the Prescott area did ya hear them ? if so do you know what they were? do ya even know what of speaking of mostly We didn't hear or see anything, but there was definitely buzz about a couple of meteors landing around here. I know the local rag said that the Prescott Meteor Hunter (whoever that is) was out looking, but I don't know that anything was found.
