Here's a really sweet piece of wood I found at Hampton about a month ago. I drove down there for a day of hunting and found some pretty good stuff. I didn't realize how many different colors were in this until after I cleaned it up and took a picture. Sorry for the huge pic....I still am working on downsizing this. BTW, This actual piece is about 6" long about 3" thick. Enjoy! Steve

Steve, that looks like a nice piece of wood, but it's really hard to tell with the pic so large.
Every photo program has a "resize" feature. When you upload your pics from camera or scanner, there is an "edit". Somewhere within the "edit" feature there is a resize function. With most programs you can resize in inches, pixels, or percentage of original size. Also the photo site you upload your pics to in order to post them here has an "edit" feature which includes a resize. Photobucket's edit feature is right above the image uploaded, for example.

Darn, I can't see the pic as it looks like a thumbnail...sigh! There is a guy on ebay called Rockshop. I've purchased alot from him. He sells this kind of wood and also a wood called hubbard basin. I've managed to collect a few pieces of that. Both are just beautiful and take a mirror shine. You may wish to look at his website also called sticks-n-stones. That way you can kind of get a feel for what a gem you have found!!! Both can go for a very high price!
