wow....... Back in the day, we were (at least I was) taught 0 had a value, but it was never really explained, even in my thermo dynamics classes, as to what or how, except on linear 3D graphs where 0's value has a relationship to a quantity, as based on a quantified value between 1 & -1.........best I remember........like I paid attention to this stuff when I should have......lol
To think about it a bit more.......there was a slight mention of the principal "The sum of any number and it's opposite is 0".......not anymore....?

What an insight !
Unbelievable that it was

Just quic note
The Descartes project of doubting everything
In the hopes- perhaps- of finding something certain.
Why certainty?
Because at the time European were slaughte ing each other over beliefs.
Beliefs that that can never be objectively proven.
I won’t expurgate on the religious dogmas.
But they were the barriers that caused so much bloodletting.
So the search for something rock bottom certain ---was the only hope
Anyway that just political rhetoric
What I wanted to point out in my quick note

I mean Descartes was great in the 17th century.
After Copernicus and Galileo and the enlightenment on the horizon
But if ya think his idea of doubting was revolutionary
Consider Zeno ! Thousands of years before !

were having our difficulties in the rock shop round and round we go zenoknohsmohs some how pi didn't come around zeroed out at 2 a.m. this is Sgt EdMo to Ground Control we really made the grade and now its all downhill !
