I was wondering what you meant by the season, I'm guessing the heat? This one looks great!

Yep Mike There a rock season in the southwest All the rocks shows start coming back after October ,,,mostly Nothing but hot rocks till then Traditionally I can early morn grind till about June 12th. then the lows don’t get below 122 Around September 15th the lows start mellowing> I can then venture out from under the rock & start to rock the heart , Again All this is subjective and subject to change Like inclement weather Thanks 2 Everyone!!! I’ll be back with the other half!

You know we will miss you and your hearts. You'll have to pop in frequently for our mohs fix.
eta-- Is there any way you can fashion rocks in the air conditioning??

I really like those hearts, mohs. I was wondering if you back them with a solid piece for stability.

Nah the halves are just poxied at the seam amazing how much hold strength that epoxy have The heart goes through the rigorous grind steps & I'm known to get on a stone Then I drill out the zipped groove To pin the hole So there are lots of steps & fair amount of crafting goes into one Risky towards the end afraid its going to break have 15 year olds hearts that are still 2 gather & can’t be snapped in half by hand…. mostly I encourage other to try and craft them I could use other perspectives… Thanks rixs!! rixrocks

Very impressive, mohs. They're stronger than I had thought then. I'm gonna have to give it a try! Very nice work.

right on rix ! that exciting I'll look forward to results and anything I can be assistance of just yohs at the mohs really-- after those doublets you'll be doubling up on rocking hearts in no time back to back heart have a future and jus as addendum the reason for building a heart was to have a hanging pendant drilling that hole was way beyond mohs means so I zipped a groove wahla a pre-frilled hole! so that idea can be doubly incorporated....
