I’m new to tumbling. I bought a Lortone 3A to make tumbled “sea glass” for several projects. I was very pleased with the first four batches. I let the glass tumble for four days and it came out beautifully frosted. However the fifth batch will not frost. I’m using the same glass, grit, water, and process. I thought it may be the belt, although the tumbler seems to be tumbling fine. Even with a new belt, the tumbler is not frosting the glass. The glass has been tumbling for five weeks now. Still not frosting the glass. Any idea why the glass is not frosting?
