Wow lots of neat rocks here. I have some new haven purple jasper in my tumbler now for the 5th week. Is that what yours it or is it different? They all turned out great!!! Thanks for showing up the pics. I enjoy looking at everyones finished rocks!!! Just makes you want more...LOL!!! How long did you tumble them in each stage? Just wondering here as I'm on my 1st load here...still waiting, and waiting.....

It's hard to say. I keep 3 12 lb. tumblers running course all the time. I check them each week and remove some to move on and add more. I don't know for sure if this is New Haven. I just bought it as purple jasper. It's much prettier than shows in the pictures. I'm not too good at taking pictures. The purple jasper seems to shape up pretty quickly, a lot faster than some of the stones I'm running. Trish

I have to agree it is much prettier in person and does shape up really nice! Mine is in the 5th week and will probably let it run for 7wks just out of curiousity. I'm letting my rubies run for 9 wks equal to their mohs numbers...just for the fun of it and to see how well they do for that long.

You've got some very cool rocks in there, great job on the shine too. There's some really beautiful lakers too.

Ah man you stink! I have some of that Banjo Jasper just begging to be run and here you go showing me how nice it comes out- Mean Very very mean- The rocks did turn out great!

Oh, those are nice. I have some of the green jasper in 60/90 right now and finally a batch going in 120/220 of amethyst and green quartz. Hope mine turn out nice like yours.
