Hello everybody. I am hoping someone has a used 8 x 3 expanding drum sitting on a shelf gathering dust, which they are willing to part with. Local pick up is sadly not an option, as I live in Guam, but a medium flat rate box will get here in a reasonable amount of time. Thanks in advance, Nik

Like this: Damage marked. I never used it but assume it's an expanding drum and it is 8x3. It was on my stardiamond machine and I removed it to add wheels. I also have a mfrb. If you want it, email me a prepaid mailing label.

Thanks for the correction.
When I first started out, I bought some used lapidary equipment from a local lapidary. He was old school and had some unique methods. The trim saw was an arbor and blade attached to a base and cooling was with a wet sponge. I got a lapidary belt sander from him that had worn 400 grit sandpaper for sanding and was cooled with a spray bottle. He had 3 stardiamond machines; the one he used and two others. I bought one with two worn galaxy wheels. His had two galaxies and a nova which he cooled with a spray bottle. I started out with the 80,220 belt sander and tin oxide on the polishing pad. I didn't like the results particularly with undercutting so I bought a Genie. I decided to modify the stardiamond so that I could use geysers, removed the drum and added 3 wheels; no spray bottle and no water hose.

I have one. I'll try to get images later today. It's a Raytech.

Thanks for the replies. I ended up just buying a new one. They have definitely gone up in price since I last bought one in the late 90s.
