Thank you for sharing I love this! Might be the least amount of tools required to create a pendant (not counting glue on bails). Jewelers saw, file, soft nosed hammer, sand paper and you can get a small piece of the copper at home depot in a pinch in the roofing department. Chuck

I like them as well. We call them turtles. An excellent beginning project. Thanks.

Looks good! I prefer your groove wraps because the cover less of the cab, but these are cool too.

I like the square ones the best, especially the second one with the puddingstone. I think the more angular cab goes well with the copper clasps. I don't know what the word is for the little tabs that hold the rock in place.

I don't know what the word is for the little tabs that hold the rock in place. That's why it is important to make a variety of items. I do really like the square ones but the round ones might be my favorite. Then again round cabs might also be my favorite so that could be it. I like the groove wraps as well but there is not any creativity involved. With these I get to design something and create something. I can groove wrap while half asleep at this point. I have also groove wrapped several hundred stones and have kept zero for myself. I would much prefer to wear one of these forged pendants. I think they look a bit more rugged. Chuck

I like those that don't look like turtles, just tabs! (Thank you, Robin hummingbirdstones ) Elegant! Looks like tabs can be made in any style. Of course! Thanks!

You do a really nice job with these tab settings. I esp like the crazy lace with the "back piece". I haven't done any of these in awhile, either. Too many pots in the fire.

Thanks for sharing. I really like your angular tabs, and your crazy lace and triangular pendants are my favorites.
I also like your wordless tutorial a lot, too.

That was not meant to be a tutorial but it does show the steps. The only part missing is the filing. When I was making these a few years ago I had access to really cool cad software at work that allowed me to design items as flat sheets and then actually bend them. I still use cad software but do not have that module anymore. Chuck

Can something be posted in tutorial section? My jewelers saw will be ordered within a day or two. Already have some sheets of copper and Sterling. Thanks

Very, very nice, Chuck. Just curious, what gauge copper are you using on those?
