Trying to wrangle a heart isn't easy, I tried something new for me. I mostly like what came out of it, but the back is a train wreck. However, I did learn some things from doing it this way so I may rework this one. I'm wondering what others think and what I could do differently... Thanks for looking.

Whenever I tackle a new design, I do it in copper and then refine it in silver. I think is a great effort towards coming up with something new and I encourage you to try again, now that you know a few things about it. I like the design!

That's a good idea, thanks Tela! Luckily, it's still the nickel wire (I need to use it up) except for the bindings.

The heart is very hard. But I think I know what you wanted to do with it. I think it is very handsome.

Good looking!! However, I suggest using copper or brass.

Don't know why but I just saw this post. Hearts are hard to wrap, at least for me. I did one that I called "cross your heart" but only did two because they were such a pain to get the wires to look good. That was a blast from the past in 2010 when I first started wrapping.

Thanks for sharing, Diane! I like it...and they are a pain to wrap, aren't they? I think our friend mohs has the right idea when it comes to hearts!

I agree, hearts can be a pain to wrap. Ed has been doing hearts for a long time and has it down to a science for sure.
