Not entirely a guessing game because I'm going to tell you enough to come pretty close if you take time to do a little Google Map work, plus as a starting assist the four digit and one decimal place number you are looking for is between 1000.1 and 2099.9 Last Monday Eva, Charley, Roxie, and I hit the road from Napa and just now got back from a trip to Idaho. In the process we did a giant loop from Wells to Twin Falls to Boise/Nampa and back down through McDermitt to Winnemucca before jumping back on I-80 to CA. During our stay we rock collected at Texas Spring, visited Shoshone Falls and Idaho Rock Shop in Gooding. We also received a guided tour of the Owyhee's for picture jasper from Tony, and ran around Graveyard Point by ourselves. Game starts now and ends around 8pm PDT on Friday 6/5 Each player gets three guesses. Duplicated guesses go to the person who said it first. The winner is the person who guesses closest to the actual number without without going over. The prize is a SFRB of picture jasper tumbling rough from the Owyhee's area. I will be keeping an eye on the game and if the exact number is guessed I will stop the game as soon as I see it.

1583.4 This is my scientific guess. I added the miles to Boise and back, plus mother's birth year, husband's birth year, my birth year and that of each of our four children. 1583.
1926.7 I added a few side trips.
2099.8 Added miles seeing the local sites and looking for a diner (lost). Decimals are the digits missing from the actual scientific guesses.

I meant to cut a couple of small rocks today then start on the trip report but other stuff got in the way. BTW, I don't know if you saw my note in your thread but the whole Utah thing is growing legs. Our daughter is moving to Salt Lake end of June and we're going to help her driver the uhaul and moving stuff. It would be great to see you guys again (and 1dave too) even if nothing more than a quick collecting agates trip.

I would have got to it tonight but now we're glued to the scanner because downtown Napa is popping off Apparently multiple busloads of protesters are continuing to stream in including reports of the terrorist organization known as Antifa being here now. We're a few miles away from it but I'm locked and loaded and ready to defend vigorously. Regarding the box, there are likely cabs to be had They are are fairly chunky tumbler pieces.

Unfortunately, it seems to be everywhere. I've been watching the news and St. John's church in DC is on fire. The depravity boggles the mind.

Lots of choices depending on the timing & how long you can stay. Lynn

The kicker is in Salem, the small businesses have armed citizens sitting in front of their businesses! That I like!

Not to get off track of this topic.......Legally armed citizens who own the property (real estate) they protect, will/could deter much of the mom & pop vandalism. Much like we see all the time with liquor stores, gas station, small markets, ect.......chain store, big box enterprises generally have (many are armed) private security personnel on the premises, which seem to be void, maybe due to the COVID19 timing........ No matter how you look at this, public law enforcement (all most everywhere) seems to have taken an approach to more be concerned with the crowd/mob control....not even relying on what they learned from the 1992 Los Angeles riots, which started out with more violence....... History has proven (over and over again), seldom do racial incited public gatherings, not escalate into some kind of violence over time......and the perpetrators become more organized (by others who have $$$ and are in no way associated with seeing any good outcomes), are overwhelmingly of the minority race and of the same social economic class that the original "victim(s)" come from......Just a Thought.
Tommy, feel free to move this post as you see fit.......thanks.
