Does anyone have experience with the older Gryphon Diamond Micro wire saw? Not the Omni series that is newer but the older style with the wire that wraps around the drum. Also if anyone has a used one let me know.

Also if anyone has a used one let me know. I was luckily able to pick up one of these reciprocating gryphon diamond micro wire saws on ebay. The diamond wire is very narrow compared to the other models like Gryphons Omni model. Its going to be interesting. If anyone has experience with using one of these for intarsia I'd love to chat with you briefly about your experience. |

I just rebuilt one of the old gryphon wire saws.. took a while to find the proper wire.. it is the style you were talking about.. all metal construction with the drum that winds and unwinds the wire..
