So I was going thru some gravel I collected from the San jacinto river that I collected awhile back and found this little guy. I assume it's a type of coral but could be wrong.. decided to make couple small cuts last night. This is outside of rock- And the inside- And after few minutes cleaning up the edges with the dremel.- The material is pretty soft, too soft for tumbler. but after sanding on it for minute or two I think it will polish up ok with dremel. Very unusual material, to me anyways. Thanks for looking!

That is so cool! That yellow color is amazing. Thanks! I was hoping the color I could see before cutting it would go all the way through but the color definitely exceeded my expectations.

Very pretty piece of coral. Bet if you put a scrap piece of it vinegar it will fizz.
