The mermaid is made of cast iron, then I sprayed her with some clear sealer.
All I have for fish is some orange feeder fish, about 3 dozen.
Stefan, I would love to try and grow some lotus from seeds. Give the guy my email addy or I can give you my home addy, whichever is best.
Connrock, it is a Nymphaea, Mme. Wilfron Gonnere. Funny thing is that when it first opened, it was bright pink, then 2 days later it turned all white. Here is a pic. of the same flower:

Sorry to say they are currently out of seeds- I'll check at home to see if I have any left from last year. You may want to check with him anyway- They were out of seeds last year- and I sent in my envelope anyway- 3 weeks later I had seeds! Also read the tutorial about how to grow em- I followed it pretty closly and it worked great (other than the time frames as last summer was very cool in my area)
