Hello everyone! So glad to have found this wonderful forum. It'll be nice to have other folks who love rocks, glass and metal to share with. I recently fired up my 30yr old TV-5 which had been languishing away in its box for decades. Decided it was time to start polishing the rocks I find locally and on vacations. The Dallas/Ft Worth area is littered with fossils, calcite and chert. (some of the cherts are nice enough to consider Jasperish) Looking forward to talking with you all and may the rocks be with you. Kyoti

Welcome from the Desert Southwest, Kyoti!
If you can find some time, it would be cool if you were able to post pictures of some of your rock finds, in one of the other forums. It will have more visibility too.
A good deal of this forum community are rock tumblers. But also know that there are some fossil experts here too. We would certainly enjoy seeing any fossils that you wanted to share as well!
