Damn the luck- but cars can be replaced- People can't Glad to hear they are ok! As for the job- well I faced a few lay offs a few years back- and once I got over the depression- it was like a new world opened up! Endless Possibilities!!!!! New adventures!!!!!! Enjoy the time off- for soon enough you will be back to the GRIND (and not the good kind!)

What beautiful stuff! I also am dying to know how hard you had to work and how far you had to go, to find it.

Here's the scoop on the Utah Stuff. I bought the Colored Chert and Picasso Marble. The banded stuff is a long drive and fairly easy diggings. Just need a nice sledge and your good. The green stuff is high in the mountains and a hard hike to get to it. Rugged Country, but nothing us Rockhounds won't endure for a few good rocks. Wish I had more to spread around...but give me time. When I get back there, I will definitely get some extra for trade stuff! Steve

Steve-
I'm never afraid of a good hike and spend gobs of time in the mtn and desert. I would love to know where you got it in case I'm ever in the area. PM me if you don't mind!
I think next week I'll be going down south looking for petrified wood.
thanks,
