I’ve been inspired to do some cutting the past few days, I don’t often just play with the saw. I thought I’d share the goods here and ask for an ID, or see if someone that knows picture jasper could point me in the right direction! First up, some really nice Rocky Butte: Next, some sowbelly agate from Creede, CO: A couple nice parrot wing jasper: Some really nice Turritella agate from Wyoming: My mystery piece...got this at a rock shop that was going out of business. Nothing was labeled, so I really have no idea where it might be from. I could see that it might be a picture jasper from the outside, and this is what’s inside when I cut. Biggs? It doesn’t seem all that tight grained though, but it does take a nice polish. Does anyone have a suggestion?

My opinion is Biggs also...but I am not an expert by any means on the many jaspers out there. Interested to see others opinions though.
Nice cuts, thanks for sharing!

Really nice slabs you cut! Love that last slab of Rocky Butte and the Parrot Wing slabs. Yummy!
Agree with the Biggs area for your mystery rock, but I'm not an expert either.

Biggs and Deschutes have a lot of flavors. I look for both on ebay regularly and saw an item that looked very similar.
