Here is some amethyst I got off ebay. Some of the piece are rather big so dont know if I can tumble them in my 3lb tumbler. Amethyst is one of my favorites. Tonya

hit the big ones with a hammer and tubble away put the shards in with the rocks they help I think

Those are some beautiful pieces. I went to Ebersoles again this weekend an picked up some Phantom Amethyst and it looks just the same as yours. Tami

Thanks, I really like them. Some of them have brown ore stains on them. Will those come out in tumbling or do I need to do something else with them first.

No, all I have right now are tumblers, no saw.........maybe someday

THe stains should come out in tumbling (if they are on the surface) otherwise they are there for the haul- Nice looking rough!
