I bought a one pound piece of rough and a slab from Altamont Bead on Etsy. He has some Nevada material and has the mine for Mescalero and Blue Dream which is a Mescalero variant. The slab had a nice pattern on half of the slab. The rough is good enough to cab but not drool worthy. Both pieces were very solid and Mescalero can have a lot fo fractures. I laid out two cabs on the slab and five from the slabbed rough

I cut up large piece of some brecciated material and cut a slab off the heel. It had nice colors and some druse.

I took a facing cut off the small piece of Royal Imperial. I had a nice pattern with a rotten core.
