Here's a wrap I did this morning with a piece of quartz that I cabbed, just because I liked it. Might not be a spectacular stone, but it has it's merits.  Thanks for looking.  |

Really like the gold and silver wire on it. Thank you, Pat. Normally I switch it up when I run out of wire but this time it was actually by design- I figured it would provide some contrast against the pure white of the stone.  |

It doesn't look so "lowly" to me. As a matter of fact, this is similar to my quartz wraps, and my wife's favorite kind of stone. Plus I like the mix of silver and gold. Thanks for sharing!

Nice looking pendant. I think the quartz looks great with the gold accents. It makes a nice contrast.

I like this one with the gold and silver on it. The bail looks a bit messy though. Thanks Diane. It is a little messy, mostly due to my error in the length of wire I used to wrap the stone. I could have used another 1/4 or 1/2". |

I could have used another 1/4 or 1/2". I usually measure the outside of the stone then I add at least 2" for the bail alone plus whatever wire you want for swirls or decorations in addition to the bail. I figure I can always recycle wire but if it comes up short there isn't much you can do with it. |
