Here's another wrap of a cab that I made from a slab that hummingbirdstones put in the Traveling Slabbette Box. St. John's Flower Agate, the stone looks way better in person. Thanks for looking!

WOW.......St.Johns material........ That area has been reduced to native habitat, private mining.........and hounding is discouraged.........My good rock specialist buddy was out that way recently near the Warhoop mining district and White Mtn where St. Johns & Apache County abut..............only to be discouraged by the BLM and Federal Land Management folks.....Evidently, several restrictions have been placed on that environment. My bud used to collect out there back in the 2005.....lots of pet wood too.........guess the area has been shut down since 2007........
That material is now hard to find......and don't trust any web sales..!

Actually the land is owned by SRP and they are the ones who closed off the collecting.

Ahhhh........a privately held, quasi government (for profit), community supported (they have a public appointed governing board), government regulated Public Utility Agency......power, water and mining.......only the largest power company in the State, with land holdings that cover 1/3 of the State.........Now I know why (and I'll tell my buddy), there was a heavy "government" security presence where he was trail blazing.......lol......Evidently some of the area is disguised as "native habitat" too...!....Boy, and I thought the BLM wasn't transparent.

Very nice wrap, Mike. Lovely material, too. I have some stuck away somewhere. It really is hard to get.

I think the bail on this one is real cool! The rock is super cool! I think that I need to participate in the "traveling rock" box some day.

It's a lot of fun and you'll get a chance to work with some new material. Plus, then you can share some of the nice stones that you have! 😃
