Hi everyone,
Well, things have not changed for us ... we are still trying to balance life and all that comes with it. It's funny how life tries to test your patience ... and ours have definitely been pushed ... so, we just keep rolling with the flow! We just hope that someone shuts that faucet off before too long
Here are a couple photos of this past weekends trip to Dillon, Colorado. We had a family reunion there and really enjoyed the scenery. The fishing was not too bad either!
As soon as I get the photos of the fish that I caught ... I will get some posted. I did not have my camera readily available and I don't know why ... I generally have it with me just about anywhere I go in the mountains.
I helped my 4 year old nephew catch his first Rainbow Trout ... a nice 7" beautifully colored fish. Actually, I hooked it and he did the rest! Talk about a kid that was bursting with excitement ... he could hardly contain himself. You have to understand ... this kid would get squirmy just to think about touching a work ... then, in an instant ... he was holding his fish in his hands and he didn't care that it was slimy, wet or that it smelled ... it was his fish! We did get that captured on my Dad's camera ... so, that made the entire trip!
Well, I have a bathroom to repair, portion of the roof to repair, cut two acres of grass and build a for the new baby ducks that were are about to have. There are 11 eggs in one nest and 21 eggs in another nest. The 11 eggs are starting to change color ... where you can see the baby ducklings inside of their shells ... so, we are getting close.
Hope all is going well for each and every one of you.
Take care,
John
