dremel crapped out on me this evening and brushes wont be here until next week. so might as well share some I was getting ready for the lot o. didnt realize before how many ovals I had been doing. anyways, here they are. most have minor touch up and some sanding left to do still. first 3 are maligno jasper. didnt have lot of luck with prior slab of maligno I worked but this slab held together much better and enjoyed working the material this time around. next Is leopard skin jasper- Laguna lace- a picture jasper I assume- lavic jasper- unknown - this has some very minor chatoyancy in some of the pink areas. seems similar to a tiger eye fibrous type material. any idea on ID? and lastly- this buxom bearded lady is from small slab of MHPJ that was a freebie thrown in with a purchase. now just have to wait for parts to come in so can finish these and others and run another load thru the lot o. thanks for looking and i appreciate any feedback/tips/advice!

Pretty cabs. Can't wait to see them fully polished. I think the 3rd Maligno is my favorite, too.
Your unknown looks like Chinese Pietersite to me.

I know what it is like to plan on s=doing something indoors when bad weather is predicted. Then have an ewuipment failure. I feel your pain.

Nice work, as always! Hopefully you ordered 2 sets of brushes...that's what I did the last time it happened to me. I do not like being down because of equipment failure.

Very pretty! I really like the Maligno, and can't believe that it held together so well. Those are beauties. I like them all, but the Picture Jasper is a really neat example. Well done with these.

Well done with these. thank you NevadaBill for the kind words! i thought that slab of maligno would be the last time I worked that material due to previous crumbly material. but was happy how these turned out and may just get more in future. regarding the picture jasper- my brother said he didnt see a landscape but rather a man sleeping on his back with a pillow under his head. now it's the first thing I see when I look at it.

Haha! Your brother has an artistic eye. I like this one because it reminds me of the hills in my neighborhood. I hope to make it up to Northern Nevada border some day and find some for myself some day!

You really pounded out a lot of amazing cabs with that Dremel. Oh no a new model? Can it get any better than it already is?
