Here's a pic of the chert/flint Susan sent me after 1 week in 60/90. Some nice colors and it's sure going to be pretty when finished. Has a way to go yet, though. llana

That's some really nice stuff, interesting lines and colors too. I agree, it's going to be really pretty when it's done.

Looking good Llana!!! Can't wait to see the end result. Stefan, the chert comes in a huge variety of color here and can be found all over the place I just drive out 10 minutes and within an hour I can find about 20pounds

Hey you ought to offer some up for sale- with colors like that you should be able to sell some- Heck if the wife didn't put a freeze on spending (summers are always tight) I take some! What with the Flat rate $7.70 shipping box and all you could probably do pretty well!

thanks for the idea stefan. I'll go out and collect a bunch and put them up for sale? What do you think would be a good price?

Depends on what You have into it- A lot of the members sell the stuff to other memebers for 1 to 2 dollars a pound- But If you got a lot of time and effort into it you should charge more! Also consider using the Flat Rate box- It hold between 20 and 30 Lbs so if you figure an average of 25 lbs per box plus $7.70 ship- You got a $32.70 box o rocks (at a buck a pound) Or you can offer some up for trade-
