No one heard from me for a while so thought I'd break the news that I finally bought a place of my own.... in process of moving. Surprisingly easy to get a mortgage considering my job isn't much to speak of (max 15 work days a month limit at low wage). Luckilly I know how to be frugal and make sacrifices to make it happen. Well with the property, I'm attempting to build the first dedicated gem shop in the area. I'm hoping to get the shell up by winter but I think as I believe I ha e the budget for that. But that might be abput it. Would be really nice to have it slightly heated in winter to 50 degrees or so in winter when its 20 below.... would be hard to cut rocks at that temp but I'd somehow figure a way. I'm trying all possible ways to raise funds, ideally by crafting something or selling stuff. You can see a lot of what I do on my Facebook or website Alaskan Lapidary. Alternitivily should anyone like to donate I did create a fund account for the first time ever since the community benefits from this. www.gofundme.com/f/build-a-gem-shop-for-my-startup-alaskan-lapidary?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=p_cf+share-flow-1&fbclid=IwAR3DA87Kx2XS10BqlHiTUt3jocesLoZ7JWsZ9thjZ4CdXGS3dwMoNcMGQsk

Thanks all, getting a house has been a dream for a long time and a shop which will be nice once I can get it.
Been doing some monthly rock work ever since I started making engravings which helps to recover some of my equipment purchases lol.
Stay tuned on my Facebook (personal and lapidary) to see progress of things!
