was cutting some preforms out on the tile saw and ran across some wood I collected locally so decided to cut it open. I was pleasantly surprised. unfortunately, theres no way to cut a slabette out of it. where I collect it seems to be the case that the more gnarly the exterior the better the inside is. most are too small to do much with so pass them up alot when collecting. dont think I will in future lol. here is the outside of the halves- and the inside- thanks for looking!

Nice piece. I wonder that some of the really twisted up stuff is root stock, sure makes nice display pieces.

Super cool! I've been leaving more wood than I've been collecting, too, lately. However, I would not have been able to pass up these pieces, they're great.

However, I would not have been able to pass up these pieces, they're great. thanks Mike! it's so plentiful where I collect that u have to be choosy or u will fill a 5 gal bucket in very short order. much of it better tumbled than cut but can get nice surprise here and there
