They look pretty dang good for your first ones! Keep practicing and soon they will be totally flawless. My only suggestion would be to get a pen knife or something and slip it between the two bail wires and slowly move those wires apart a bit to make some "rabbit ear" bails. It will help the pendant hang better on whatever type of cord or chain you choose to use with them.

Thank you Robin for your suggestion. I will do that. I did not know the reason for doing it though I have seen it done many times by others.

Wonderful! I think they all look great. They aren't as easy as they look, so kudos for your first looking so good.

Thanks everyone………Dang that wire don't last very long! I ordered some more from Fire Mountain Gem. I won't make that mistake again. They have sat on the order now for 10 days and still have not shipped it! They said they have but USPS tracking says they are waiting on the package.

Bill, I think they look great! And I agree with you, that wire doesn't last very long. I've been out for days- I think mine is supposed to get here on Monday.

I think they all came out looking perfect. I think you were trying to show in one picture how the groove looks on the side of the rock. It might be hard to match the wire with the stone, once a groove is cut. Maybe the stones need to have more of a flat sides so it looks uniform when cutting the groove. I need to get one of these machines.
My favorite rock is the dark green one that is in the white matrix. I don't know that kind of rock it is though. But I wouldn't mind finding some.

The dark green one with the white matrix is California Jade I believe. I friend on here gave me a piece of that. I wished he had more because I really like it also. In fact all of them are Jade except the one turned on it's side and that is Burro Creek Pastelite I believe. I found it at Burro Creek anyway, wether or not it is Pastelite I am not sure.

Looking good! What do you use to make the groove in the stone? Never tried before but looks really interesting
