I was able to pick up one of the Gryphon microwire saws that uses the .008" diamond wire that reciprocates back and forth. I don't think they have made them in like 20 years but I was able to pick up an almost new condition one which I am very thankful for. It was extremely expensive but I hope to use it for a long time. Has anyone used these before? If so do you have any tips. Anyone know what grit to order for the wire? Its pretty expensive stuff so I don't want to order the wrong size. It can fit up to 100 feet at a time. The way it works is it unwinds the wire on one drum and onto a second drum then reverses in direction.
