cut these this evening and just have to finish up sanding and then will be ready for lot o. unknown- came from misc box of material collected from Idaho, Utah and Oregon. Next is pink limb cast- last is Moroccan Agate - thanks for looking!

I really like the shapes. I love a nice sharp corner. The smiths can stuff it. LOL

That pink limbcast is going to be amazing when it comes out of polish! I was hesitant at first about slicing up the piece of limb cast as I wasnt sure how well the pink would show but glad i did!

I really like the shapes. I love a nice sharp corner. The smiths can stuff it. LOL Thanks! I have been trying to mix up my shapes a bit. recently got stuck on doing a lot of ovals for some reason and they just arent as fun to do as most other shapes.

Glad you're experimenting with new shapes -- it's refreshing. As to setting stones with sharp angles, it's easily done with prongs instead of bezels. Well, maybe not exactly "easily," but it's often the solution I've used, mainly in jewelry castings, not fabrications.

I love the pink limb cast. I had a nice big piece and was really torn about cutting it, but in the end, I got a lot of stellar cabs out of it. Wait till you see the polish! Beautiful stuff.
