I was hesitant at first about slicing up the piece of limb cast as I wasnt sure how well the pink would show but glad i did!

Thanks! I have been trying to mix up my shapes a bit. recently got stuck on doing a lot of ovals for some reason and they just arent as fun to do as most other shapes.

Glad you're experimenting with new shapes -- it's refreshing. As to setting stones with sharp angles, it's easily done with prongs instead of bezels. Well, maybe not exactly "easily," but it's often the solution I've used, mainly in jewelry castings, not fabrications.
