My wife had a small polished face piece of Labradorite rough that had some nice flash. My previous attempts with this material were not successful. I cut a small slab off the piece making the face the bottom and put a shape on it. The end result was not as nice as what I started with. I jumped the line and finished it before the other cabs I was working on. Getting a picture of the little flash that showed was not easy. I'll go back to 1200 and see if that helps make it smoother but it will look the same.

Labradorite benefits from a flat top, instead of the usual dome.

Labradorite benefits from a flat top, instead of the usual dome. I've noticed this also. Nice to see some early vintage members chiming in now days!
