Photo #123 My snake subject was very uncooperative for the photo shoot: This is the fourth configuration of the same set of stones.

Photo #124 For some reason I like the colors on this photo.

I like the shapes in that last one. The snake is mimicking the outline of the rocks with its body and that extra little link in its neck. (Do snakes even have necks?)

Snakes never evolved necks. Fun fact: The ancestors of ball pythons did grow hind legs at one point, but, lost them evolutionarily except for small pelvic spurs which still exist and are suspected to be used for the purpose of courtship.

I tell my wife that's what I have the spurs for too!

Photo #125 These are always nice...easy to tumble, easy to polish. Same type of stones as those used in Photo #93. They look like root beer agates.

Photo #126 I have a lot of these stones...they would drive rock tumbling perfectionists mad.

Photo #127 Ball pythons are named after their ability to curl into a ball for protection when threatened...seems like a risky strategy to me.

Photo #128 This one took a while to tumble--I had to go slow so I did not obliterate the formations/patterning.

Photo #129 Most of these are broken geode pieces that have been tumbled. I had a group of 'orangey' and a separate group of white pieces.

Sorry, couldn't help myself. Should have said 'Sorry, Here I go again' . Coincidentally I often sing verses of this song to my gf when I'm leaving for work in the morning, but, with much much *much* less energy/enthusiasm.

Photo #131 Went a little bit too overboard using larger pieces of Banded Obsidian in this photo relative to the Leland Blue and Howlite. Ahhh well...more pieces exiting polish soon.

I haven't gone through all your pics yet, but I REALLY dig what you post here! Thanks! I photograph all my stones before I put them into storage. I still have a large number of stones from 2019 onward I have not photographed yet. My gf says she has nightmares of coming home from work and opening the door to the house and being buried in an avalanche of polished Montana Moss Agates. I do appreciate the fact that she specifically mentioned 'Montana Moss Agates' instead of just 'agates'...she is reluctantly learning.

Your snakes all seem well-trained, and ALMOST cuddly.
