Photo #227Granite is not the easiest material to tumble and/or polish...It is quite common in my surrounding areas though. Note: I use a Romanian Army Rucksack to lug around my stones while hounding.

The red one is awesome! Is that one from KN, too? The dark blue one in the back is a gorgeous color also.

Love all your photos! They are beautiful. I had several snakes when I was a kid, and I was always out catching them - your photos made me reminisce.

Photo #234
This is a rather large piece I took from the CT River. I was concerned that it would not rotary polish (as I have had difficulty with similar material in the vibe). Two weeks in TRS polish with 50% ceramics and it shines!

Tomorrow is Easter 2022, I hope everyone has a great one! Photo #235Dyed Crackle Quartz from The Rock Shed. Video below of the original rough. I made a mistake or two while tumbling these...so the pieces came out smaller than I would have preferred.

Photo #236Some tumbled pieces off a large stone I broke up from Lake Superior. No avoiding the camera flash on all the pieces at once.

I got a nice banana ball python that would look great with some tumbled stones.
