Mastered the glass, it is a difficult tumble. Congrats. You have some delicate pieces in the white shards at lower left. Telling of a gently dialed in load. If you have glass dialed in this well your Mohs 7 stuff will really end up with a high polish braat. Every factory vibe made should be capable of doing glass with ease without babying it which is not the case. It is all about low amplitude vibration, reducing the acceleration/deceleration and should be built in at the design of the vibe. Unfortunately a vibration analyzer is about required to tune/adjust amplitude. If memory serves you are using a UV. Other RTH members have polished softies like obsidian and sodalite using a UV. I am not familiar with that vibe but am looking to purchase one for these reasons.

I've been following your glass adventures and cherry picking what I think will work for me, glass plagiarism . But any good glass/rock results would not happen without the collective wisdom here on RTH so thanks to all for that! The challenge now is to find new and interesting rocks and glass to tumble (without having to buy) and that is as much fun as the tumbling part for me. . If you click on the picture it will take you to the Flickr picture and you click again you can zoom in and see a lot (to me) of pitting...trying to figure out how to get rid of that for future...

Liking the trees. And the super stock Comet Jim. Has all that roofing in the hot Georgia sun started to get to you? Asking for a friend.

Thanks...the bigger red striped ones used to be a vase I got at a local second hand store, and the small round reds ( as well as the smaller blue guys) came from the dollar store. All I did was make them smaller and maybe shinier?

Some drag racing going on there in BC I believe. Roofing yesterday and today 7 hours each day. Thermometer up top said 110F under shady eave. Working on the hidden side, I am using Galvalume high reflection and getting the arm pit burn. 2 hours up, 20-30 minutes down for break. 3 -16 ounce water bottles down the hatch each break. Eating bananas to avoid dehydration cramps. They really work. Even the Hispanic dudes would not go up there except to lay the decking as they committed. They said amigo has to do the firing strips.

Good grief. Not to hijack but I would be working evenings and nights maybe.
