I like seeing the poll live so I can change my vote and be a spoiler LOL. Thing is, even on the closed poll you can randomly select an answer, view the standings, then still change your vote! And on the open poll you can practice the willpower to “not look” at the standings until your choice is made. LOL

Boy that slab didn't disappoint... such a difficult vote. They are all great but 8 and 10 ... damn. 8 is a phenomenal capture that looks like a snowy mountainside but 10 with that MOON! haha I couldn't decide so I voted for my own. Obviously I'm just kidding. I didn't vote for my own. It's obvious I didn't because mine has zero votes. I should have taken more time and maybe rounded the corners

I'm just curious where the name came from for that material. I have never heard of Burro Creek Sunset Jasper.

I've never even seen most of the jaspers listed on that page. Now I'm going to have to look at my rocks and see if I have any of this.

FYI the worldofjaspers dot com root website seems like it is hacked or something, at least from my phone I get redirected to a spam site. Better to google world of jaspers + name of rock and go direct to the section you want.

I love your entry. Loving all the entries. Many were areas I had focused on, but some are new ones I did not see. Still undecided if I will be cabbing or leaving as is.

As a couple others have stated #10 has that full moon in it...it was a no-brainer for my choice...well, come to think of it, most of the things I do are "no-brainers"! LOL

I submitted an order for the book, made payment with paypal, but the payment from paypal was never accepted so I cancelled it this morning. Have no idea what the problem is.

We have a winner!! Super hoopy CONGRATULATIONS to Mr. Bill RocksInNJ , and his surreal moonlit landscape. Way to go Bill, you rock sir, we love what you find every time. I’ve contacted fernwood and woodman with your info. kyoti , congratulations on a SOLID 2nd place finish, the snow covered mountain scene was truly remarkable. I believe Beth has a prize for you as well. Please pm fernwood or myself with your address. Thanks to Beth and Woodman for providing another great slab to cab, and generous prizes as well. Bill, you have a few weeks to find or select a slab for the next contest. Last but not least, thanks for voting, this would all fall flat without voters! Another enjoyable contest. Until next time, Evan
