Voting is open for the Sunset Jasper cabs! What a great batch of entries. Usually I have a clear favorite but not this time! If anything is wrong, missing, or needs to be changed, please let me know. Cab sizes range from 34 to 80 mm.
Voting will end Saturday July 25, at 5 PM CDT.
The lucky (and talented) winner will get a nice gift card to The Rock Shed from fernwood , and some material from woodman , including a polished slab of Sunset Jasper!
Good luck everyone. Have fun, and May the best cab win!!! 👊🏼😎

I was in shock when I received it. Still undecided if I will make cabs or leave as is for display. The entries are all wonderful.

Beautiful! Hi everyone, I’m new to the forum and stumbled onto it when I looked up Pixie Troubleshooting. I have a cabbing machine that is very loud! It gets oiled every so often but I’m wondering if I can reduce the noise other than wearing head phones. Is it the bearings? Thanks, Robin ( rxrox)

My Lortone is doing the same thing, and yes it is the bearings. It still runs fine but it’s very loud. I assume it means some water has entered and started to rust the bearings.

I opened it up so the votes can be viewed before we vote. Do we like it? If votes seem suppressed we can go back to the closed poll.
My reasoning was if a new joiner comes from Facebook or wherever, I wanted them to see the standings without logging in. Also hoping to help out the frequent tie situation. Post your thoughts if so inclined.

I personally like it closed before I vote. Otherwise it's very possible I'm going to start second guessing my first choice and change it. Basically it has to do with me being very nosy and having to see what everyone else voted for.

I think it is a truer choice made if the poll is not visible during voting.
I do want to see the scoring after voting closes. Thanks.

I like seeing the poll live so I can change my vote and be a spoiler LOL.
