This material takes a mirror polish and has nice grain with a bit of translucency. Most pieces are egg size.

Jokes aside, looks like good pet wood for the tumblers or cabbers.

We get frustrated sometimes trying to slab pet wood for cabs. Get better yield "dismantling" it first along the invisible fracture lines. Just have to live with whatever colors and patterns are in the solid bits. Yours is already prepped...!

Yes, it is often fractured. I think this batch is reasonably solid. I've noticed that larger pieces from the area tend to have fractures but this size is kinda the golden zone for having a good combo of size versus fractures.
