Let me help you out here. If you wish to tag the correct Fossilman (that would be Mike), his account name is just plain "fossil."

So @ fossil (no spaces) will do it for you.

I don't know th other person, but he's been getting tagged in error a bit recently.

ETA - You know, I haven't seen it yet, either. Like you, Mike, I need to get away from light pollution in the city.

I was able to see comet Hale - Bopp last time it came around, but that was way back in 1997. I don't imagine the light pollution has gotten any less since then, probably much worse.

Thanks for the heads up. We had clear skies tonight, so we got to a good vantage point a few miles from home. Once the sky darkened a bit, we were able to find it. Pretty neat to see. Thank you again.

ETA: Where we were, binoculars were necessary. Otherwise I could just see a faint smudge in the sky using averted vision.
