I was trying to face a small piece of Tahoma with my slab saw and it fell out of the vise into the muck. I stuck my hand in to fish it out and found a small Blue Mountain heel. I found a relatively flat area and put a shape on it, since I had the trim saw out I trimmed two other pieces. I ground five and they are ready to be dopped. 3 Morgan Hills, a Tahoma and the Blue Mountain. The picture was taken using the Ott light and the picture was only cropped and reduced. No other adjustments required.

That's a very clear, well lit, and focused picture!

The color is very accurate and not impacted by the background and the other preforms. Camera was hand held and didn't even bother to steady. When I take pictures of cabs on a dop, I make an effort to steady as if I were pulling a trigger.

They came out well. I really like the one with the red flower in the center. The blue looks like it has a pear on a branch on it.
