yes pho it's a granite with a rare blue quartz in it. only found in llano, tx. there's a bed & breakfast in llano that has a llanite countertop in the bar.
did you have to get permission to get it?

The stuff I picked up was on the side of the road so I was ok there. Would love to get in that pasture and look around for some big pieces. And is that stuff ever hard to break up....I gave up on the big ones and settled for some small stuff I could get without much trouble.
