Some slabs showed up today, sadly no time to cut them. You've got a lot of nice slabs there. I especially like the 4th picture down.

Gorgeous slabs, nik! There are tons of great cabs in those.
Hope you get some time to cab soon.

Hopefully this weekend will afford me a bit of time at the wheels, and maybe even finish the table for my freshly refurbished saw. There are already about a dozen cabs in progress, including an argumentative Kingston conglomerate and a couple star rubies (hopefully)

Nik, that is some really nice material. Have you had this for a while or is it a recent purchase?

Nik, you answered my question on what I was trying to ask- old stock or new material. The quality is excellent for newly mined material.

To the best of my knowledge, this stuff has only been out of the ground for a few months. From what he says, it is a sizeable deposit. As for the quality, all I can say for certain is that it is pretty, and seems fairly solid. Hopefully the weekend scheduling stars align to such a degree that I can find out how it cuts and polishes.
