More cabs recently finished...
Stinkingwater Plume agate from our 2019 trip. It was my second trip to this location but the first time I found a piece of the tri-color that looked solid to cab. Nice depth and I had to leave the natural botryoidal top.

More traditional Stinkwater, same trip...

Namibian Mtorolite. A double vug cut with druzy green crystals in plumes. Rough from Jeff at Barnhouse Lapidary.

Chilean Chrysocholla. A layered material bought in Tucson. Hard green agate, topped with bright blue chrsocholla, both sandwiched in softer white matrix. Rough looks like pretty pond sediment.

Turkish Plumes. Actually this came out of a batch of Turkish Needle Agate. The red color is right for the species but, of course, the plumes are not needles. Curious....but purchased from a reliable vendor in Prineville. Caught a couple reflections...

Quetzal Agate from Mexico, rough from Ignacio Mejorado in Tucson. This one piece could be called fireball agate.

Mexican plume agate from an unknown location. Picked up a slab of moss agate in Quartzsite with a little ribbon of this across the middle. Colors look like Cathedral...

Sold in Tucson as Dioptase in Malachite. More like dioptase and malachite in chrysocholla. Most of the rough, and they had tons, was multi-hued green with a little blue. Of course, I picked out the bluer pieces. Soft and brittle. A Hxtal project.

Last for today....Sonoran Plume Agate. Slab from Pat McMahon at Quartzsite last year. It killed me that he decided not to sell this year. Always a favorite stop in the morning.
