Me first agate find. Did a trip up to Superior, Wisconsin 7-31-2020. Me sister lives up there and has a friend who is an avid rock hound. Found agate in a lake just south of Lake Superior. Found several small agate pieces smaller than a pebble.

Thank u all. It was very exciting to find that first one. There was no doubt when I found it shining at me through the water near shore. I almost lost the prize. I had the rocks on a table on the patio with some other rocks. I decided to cut the grass in that area. When I was done the agate was not on the table! My one year old dog likes to take rocks and gnaw on them. I found the agate laying in the area I just cut the grass. Phew! Them puppies are so cute. :  ( |
