Hi-I am a geologist who works at a summer camp in NH. We have an old Raytech 10 inch vibrating lap. Motor works fine, have 7 (!) clean aluminum pans and lots of grit/polish. Issue is "ball" bearings and springs. Does anyone know where I might be able to get a set of the three rubber balls (or a substitute) and the three springs that attach the pan to the motor (or specs for them). We'd love to get this going again. Thanks!

Hey, welcome to the forum. I know I saw some replacement balls and springs somewhere, I will do some looking around. Maybe someone else knows right off the top of their head where to get them, but I will check around in the meantime

Springs might be had at any bearing supply house and the balls are probably available thru McMaster Carr supply !

To replace the wore out rubber balls on my 20 inch Lortone Vib Lap, found some SuperBalls that matched the size of the old ones at one of our local Dollar Stores. Put them on the machine over two years ago and they are still going strong. Springs I found at local Hardware store.

I"m with HankRocks, i.e. using superballs purchased on the internet. I was dubious when I decided to try but the machine performed great with the adaptation.
